Sometimes historic restoration is a part of a larger job – for example, where a room renovation requires a few feet of the existing molding to be recreated – and sometimes it's the job itself. We employ a full range of tools – some vintage, some modern – and a variety of techniques to restore and recreate wooden building elements: doors, windows, moldings, flooring, balusters. Restoring original sash windows, both functionally and cosmetically, is a significant part of our work.
